Maupuia is a small, cosy Private Hospital & Resthome situated at the top of Maupuia Road, overlooking Miramar, Cook Strait and even the Kaikoura mountain range on a fine day! Maupuia specialises in assisting those that need help with the necessities of life, while providing a warm and caring home with a staff dedicated to nurturing the uniqueness of each resident.

We believe quality of life recognises not only nursing and medical perspectives on care, but also requires family and residents input to gain an overall perspective of what is best for the resident.
