Our intention is simply to offer you the best care - no matter who you are or what you do. This is another reason why Maupuia is so unique and diverse, we embrace people from all walks of life and with all sorts of quirks, all you need to do is take a look around - and we don’t mean just the staff!

Our clients have all been assessed as needing some form of residential care, but are individually assessed as to the exact level of care they need regardless of their income,assets or family. Depending on individual circumstances, some of our residents are wholly or partially funded by the government (see government subsidies), and others are private clients. All in all, it’s about feel - we won’t choose you, but you can choose us.
